Wash and dry apples.
Careful core the apples ideally using a simple round apple corer.
Then cut the apples across the core into thin 3 to 4mm slices, typically getting 7 or 8 round cuts each with a round hole
Lay these on a stainless steel grill tray and place into the oven at 100ºC. You may have to work in batches.
Cooking time will depend on the apple varieties and sugar content so check after 45 minutes and then at 10 minute intervals until golden brown.
Leave to cool down and enjoy as a snack throughout the day or part of a desert or breakfast.
